The Development program is a larger population of players that identify as BIPOC, female and disadvantaged youth hockey players U12+ in the rep hockey systems. We have created a program that focuses on on-ice hockey development, dry-land training, guided by high level representative figures and allies to create a nurturing environment of success through hockey equality. Access to high quality training and resources are made available to all. Click below to sign up on our registration page.
Our Mentorship Program identifies male and female BIPOC players from the development program to monitor closely. Attributes considered are: work ethic, teachability, maturity, talent and good character. Once identified, we create a mentorship plan for each individual focused on the needs and hurdles that may prevent them from future success. These players are not chosen on talent alone but on the basis that they will be examples for future players as they find success with our program and resources.
Our Advocacy pillar is comprised of the Accountability Project as well as supporting pathways for Coaches, Trainers, Former Players and Volunteers to become leaders in the hockey community.
